I can’t seem to get my act together to post anything because my head is currently stuffed with equilibrium equations and standard reduction potentials.

First exam on Monday.

I’ll catch you on the flipside.

He really could.

I wasn’t originally going to watch the election live, mainly because it started at 12am and continued to around 5am, and I wanted to be alert enough to study today.

But, when my roommate Ane and I started watching, we just couldn’t turn it off. As I said in this thread, this is big. It’s an historical event for the US, and it may prove to have huge consequences for the rest of the world.

I’m not one of those who see Obama as a saviour, someone who’ll fix everything, but he will without doubt be a refreshing change from eight years of Bush. And because they chose him, I’ve regained my faith in the American people. Yes, you can.

Obama’s victory speech made me tear up, especially when he spoke of how far the battle for equal rights have come. My dad’s told me since I was little that it will be a great day, when the US elects an African American president.

And it really is.
