Colourblind (translated)

12 02 2009

I’m not sure I’ll be able to do this with every entry, but I thought it’d be an easy way to stop myself from blogging here completely.

Translated from Mari Datura:

Today's outfit

This is a somewhat odd colour combination, that I can’t help loving. Long-sleeved top and jeans from H&M, shoes from Din Sko, and top from Ichi. The snow is from crystallised vapour in the atmosphere, and we’ve gotten tons of it lately.

Just so you know, I feel slightly embarrassed posing for my self-timer. I would however feel ten times as embarrassed if I had to ask Cecilie (whom I live with) to take the picture. She started wondering what I was doing, by the way, running up and down the stairs with my camera.

Now she’s playing this song, which is one of the most beautiful things I know:

Or perhaps I should say “style”. I’m still experimenting.

Tuesday style

Red top from Gina Tricot, grey skirt bought at a market in Los Angeles, shoes from Euro Sko (I think) where the heel is partly destroyed by the cobblestones in Bergen. Ladybug clock pendant from Ebay. In the choice between different decorative bugs, I had to choose the ladybug, as it’s Norwegian name is “Marihøne” (Mari-hen).

Heels OMG

22 12 2008

For the first twenty years of my life I’ve had problems getting the fascination most of the female population seem to have for shoes. And then, at some point in this last semester, I suddenly understood.

You see, I forgot to add something to my previous post. Namely:

Shoes from H&M

High heeled shoes. I got this pair in the post from H&M yesterday, and they are actually prettier than on the photo. I loved them instantly, although they’re really impractical when it comes to walking on soggy fields and icy roads on the way to the car. I had to do some acrobatics to avoid falling, but it was SO worth it.
